che trasforma Venezia in un mondo magico
The Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation is featuring a solo exhibition on Ludovico De Luigi (Venice, 1933), edited by Enzo Di Martino. His artistic career from 1960 to 2013 will be the focus of the exhibition, a journey that is primarily centred on Venice, both in its past and present, as well as in a visionary future that the artist imagines in his works.
De Luigi has portraided the city in formal ways, typical of eighteenth-century taste, but also in a whimsical and irreverent pop style.
Among the pioneers in Italy to have discovered the expressive possibilities in the use of computers in art, he has been also labeled as "electronic landscape painter"
Saint Mark Gallery, 71/c. Open till December 1st, 2013. Closed on Monday and Tuesday.
