Nice hotel in a quiet part of Venice and not too far from Markus Place. We wanted to lend us towels to visit the Lido but unfortunately the front desk staff said "No". This was a bad service.

A lovely hotel. The pillow cases and sheets were very fibrous and filled the room with a fine fibre dust, which was irritating.

L'hotel Sant'Elena était tout à fait approprié pour nous. Facile d'accès au centre historique: 30 minutes à la marche ou en vaporetto. Environnement propice au calme très apprécié après des journées de visite mouvementées. Nous avions une belle et grande chambre sur le jardin. Le seul point négatif: le confort du lit. Nous recommandons cet hotel sans hésitation.

Séjour parfait dans cet hotel chic, calme et paisible. Les prestations sont de qualité, le personnel est accueillant et professionnel, le petit-déjeuner est extraordinaire. L'hotel est situé idéalement à proximité d'une station de Vaporetto qui peut vous emmener en quelques minutes à la place Saint Marc où ailleurs, notamment vers les iles de Murano et Burano. Deux petits points négatifs mineurs : les jus de fruits du petit-déjeuner ne sont pas à la hauteur de cet établissement (un jus de fruit frais serait parfait) et le bruit fait par le personnel lorsqu'il essuie les couverts sortant de la machine à laver. A part cela, je recommande fortement cet établissement dans lequel j'espère séjourner à niveau.

Sehr kompetentes, höfliches und hilfsbereites Personal; Schöne große Zimmer, gutes Frühstück! Auch die Umweltpolitik finde ich super. Es hat geklappt, dass aufgehängte Badetücher nicht gewechselt wurden, was in vielen Hotels angeführt wird, aber vielfach trotzdem nicht funktioniert. Dasselbe gilt für die Bettwäsche. Behalten Sie diesen Weg bei! Wir werden wieder bei Ihnen buchen!

Lovely hotel, very convenient to waterbus. Friendly staff, nice modern room and good breakfast. Only negative comments would be that there wasn't enough hot water for shower / bath in the mornings anda two slice toaster is not enough for all guests at breakfast.

The fact that this property was a convent was the draw for us to stay, then the location, just far enough away from the main stream, perfect. Very informative and helpful staff. The remodel is perfect, and the breakfast and the style, great! Highly recommend to all!

Air conditioning needs to be turned on when it is warm. Our room was nice, on the top floor. However, it was very Hot and humid, and we were told it was not possible to turn the air conditioning on, and we were too warm the entire time in our room. I think the room price was too much as a result of no air conditioning to cool the room.

We enjoyed our stay location is not great as there is not much around the hotel as its a residential area it was our wedding anniversary and the hotel gave us a complimentary bottle of presecco which was a very nice gesture.

Nice hotel in a very quiet part of Venice. Close to the vaporetto stop. It takes twenty minutes to walk to the very centre of Venice. Free internet and good breakfast. Internet connection is very slow.

We enjoyed our stay but found throughout that our room temperature was really warm despite having the heating turned off. Your staff were unable to reduce the temperature and so we had to keep the blinds up and the windows open at night (which meant that without curtains we woke up early due to the daylight coming through the blinds). Also I'm not a fan of double beds that are 2 single mattresses pushed together - a double bed should be a double mattress as the join in the middle is always uncomfortable otherwise (in fact in our room one side was slightly higher than the other!). The choice at breakfast was quite limited in the hot foods with only mini hot dog sausages, scrambled eggs and cooked ham on offer. Finally our booking said about a special room for children, the line on the booking is misleading as your reception staff explained it just meant specific things added to the room if required when travelling with children (eg the wii console etc). We requested a wii console and it was brought to our room but your member of staff couldn't get the controls working - I managed to work out how to sync the controls by googling how to on our iPad!
