We had a fantastic stay at the Sant Elena hotel! We missed a professional attitude from the reception staff. They consequently did not greet upon entering the reception area. Nor did they welcome us back to the hotel (3rd visit, wedding aniverary) efficient checkin but not a warm welcome. Night porter smoking together with a receptionist right in front of the hotel entrance (approx 23:15). Rooms clean as ever and still nicely decorated. Good breakfast with a wide selection. Curtains in the room very hard to open/close, needs some oil in the rail probably.

venetia was our last stay in Italy after 18 days and thought the hotel was much more .Our room had damp patch in the ceiling,our doublé bed were two small beds put together and between the two mattrest of them was a diference of almost 3 cm which make impoossible to try to rest confortable.i dont know if the sheets, but the room and all our staff had white powder all over .The lobby is much a business center and is infront of the service elevator .Im sorry but we didnt like the hotel.The staff was very polite.

Wir hatten den Eindruck/Gefühl daß nur ital.oder englisch sprechende Gäste willkommen sind. Unser englisch ist leider nur sehr mäßig. Diesen Eindruck hatten wir bei Ihrer Rezeption/Empfang.

Nice hotel in a quiet part of Venice and not too far from Markus Place. We wanted to lend us towels to visit the Lido but unfortunately the front desk staff said "No". This was a bad service.
